    Mr.Cheeks

Lost Boyz member, Mr. Cheeks has inked a deal with Stephen Marley’s Ghetto Youths International imprint and is planning a new album for 2011.

The first single and from Mr. Cheeks’ upcoming album And The Winner Is…will be titled “Havin’ Fun,” which features singer Mya Azucena.

“I know you all are tired of that fast food rap,” Mr. Cheeks said. “Get ready ‘cuz I’m gonna fill in the holes of the current hip-hop music scene, I’m about to feed you a four-course hip-hop meal.”

Mr. Cheeks began associating with the Marley family in 2007, when he began work on the single “Iron Bars” from the Marley’s Grammy Award winning album, Mind Control.

Additionally, Mr. Cheeks has worked with Stephen’s brother Damien on a number of projects over the years, including his Grammy Award winning album Halfway Tree.

“Stephen Marley and the Marley brothers are my extended family, the connection I have with them is a blessing,” Mr. Cheeks said. “Since our first meeting at Lollapolooza in the late 1990’s and through the constant musical collaborations we have been able to establish throughout the years, one thing always remains the same, and that is a common goal of creating purely good music with conscious viewpoints and positive vibes.
